Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Database design and development by using Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Collaborate with internal team member to ensure client project needs are met
• Data analysis as required for client project support
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes
• Actively participate and contribute to the continual improvement of best practices
• Explore and implement analytical packages
Requirements:
• 5 + years of SQL experience (MS SQL Server is preferable)
• Detailed understanding of performance tuning
• Proven experience in configuration of SQL Server cluster (Active/Active and Active/Passive).
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Process experience with security, environment management, and capacity planning
• Proven Object Oriented experience
• Understanding of Test Driven Development
• Proven experience in software design and architecture
• Familiarity with software release procedures and requirements
• Proven ability to work with others to efficiently tackle teamwork-oriented tasks
